E-WASTE PROJECT
Students will learn about e-waste and make a video teaching fellow students on the steps to recycle e-waste. If possible visit and deliver e-waste to the local recycling center.
Students will learn how to properly handle e-waste components and to safely make artwork with them to be displayed in the classroom.
Students will write a summary on what they learned about e-waste. They use online resources to identify 2-3 facts about e-waste and reference them in their reports.

COLLABORATION
Using FlipGrid the students will make two videos:
First to their classmates a video providing a brief overview on E-waste. Videos will be posted on our Project site.
Second a video evaluating another classmates overiew video

CRITICAL THINKING
Through their research assignment they will provide a deeper description of the E-waste problem. As well as use 2-3 references. Select assignments will be posted on our project site.
CROSS-DISCIPLINE
Will assess how well students connect E-waste science project to the English research assignment.
